In 2019 our field school explored sustainability initiatives in Western Europe traveling south to north from Spain to Denmark. We met with planners, activists, community leaders and others grappling with socio-ecological challenges in cities of Seville, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Copenhagen.
